The objectives of this research were: 1) to compare the students’ academic achievement in history course before and after integrating problem-based learning for Primary 5 (Grade 5) students, and 2) to compare the students’ analytical skills in history course before and after integrating problem-based learning for Primary 5 (Grade 5) students. The samples in this research were 40 Primary 5 (Grade 5) students in the first semester of Academic Year 2020 at Assumption Convent Lopburi school. The students were arranged into a mixed ability class of good, moderate, and weak by using the purposive sampling. The research instruments were: 1) four PBL lesson plans of eight hours for history course, 2) the achievement test for history course consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions with four choices each, and 3) the critical thinking test consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions with four choices each. The data were statistically analyzed through mean, standard deviation, and independent t-test. The results of the study revealed that: 1) the students’ academic achievement in history course using PBL was higher than before learning at a statistically significant level of .05, and 2) the students’ analytical skills in history course using PBL were higher than before learning at a statistically significant level of .05.-
