ความพร้อมของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีในจังหวัดปทุมธานีในการเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงานประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความพร้อมของนักศึกษาในการเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงานประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน และศึกษาระดับความพร้อมในการเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงานประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ในจังหวัดปทุมธานี โดยมีขอบเขตด้านประชากร คือนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี คณะบริหารธุรกิจ ชั้นปีที่ 3 และ ชั้นปีที่ 4 ที่ศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐในจังหวัดปทุมธานี โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 395 ราย มาจากการสุ่มกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้น เก็บข้อมูลด้วยแบบสอบถาม โดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสถิติเชิงอนุมาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง กำลังศึกษาอยู่ชั้นปีที่ 3 มีผลการเรียนอยู่ระหว่าง 2.51-3.00 โดยรวมกลุ่มตัวอย่างมีระดับความรู้ทั่วไปเกี่ยวกับประชาคมอาเซียนในระดับปานกลาง ทัศนะของนักศึกษาที่มีต่อการให้ความรู้ของสถาบันการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่จะเกิดขึ้น พบว่าอยู่ในระดับเห็นด้วย อันดับแรกคือ อาจารย์ผู้สอนกระตุ้นให้นักศึกษาตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของประชาคมอาเซียน รองลงมาคือ สถานศึกษาสร้างความตระหนักให้นักศึกษาเห็นถึงความสำคัญของประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน ในส่วนระดับความพร้อมของนักศึกษาในการเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงานประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน พบว่าโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง อันดับแรกคือการศึกษาหาความรู้เกี่ยวกับการรวมตัวของประชาคมอาเซียน และผลกระทบที่จะเกิดขึ้นในตลาดแรงงาน ผลการทดสอบสมมติฐาน พบว่า ปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล ประกอบด้วย เพศ ชั้นปีการศึกษา ผลการเรียน สถานศึกษาที่สังกัด และรายได้เฉลี่ยของครอบครัวต่อเดือน ที่ต่างกัน จะมีผลต่อระดับความพร้อมของนักศึกษาในการเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงานประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน แตกต่างกัน ระดับความพร้อมในการเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงานประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนของนักศึกษาอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง สถานศึกษาควรมีการกระตุ้นให้นักศึกษาเข้าฝึกอบรมทักษะทางภาษาอังกฤษ รวมทั้งทักษะภาษาประเทศเพื่อนบ้านและศึกษาวัฒนธรรมการทำงานของประเทศในอาเซียน เพื่อสามารถทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่นที่อยู่ในวัฒนธรรมที่แตกต่างกันได้

The purpose of this research was to study the factors affecting the readiness of students for participating in ASEAN labour market and to study the level of readiness of students towards the ASEAN labour market. The population was the undergraduate students studying in the 3rd and the 4th years from Faculty of Business Administration at the Universities in Pathumthani Province. They were selected to be the sample of 395 respondents by stratified random sampling. The data was collected by questionnaires and analyzed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The study results revealed that most of the respondents were 3rd year female students with GPA between 2.51 and 3.00. The study found that the samples had basic knowledge about AEC at medium level. The students’ attitudes towards their university adjustment for the approaching of AEC are at high level. Firstly, the samples agreed that lecturers had encouraged their students to give an importance to AEC. Secondly, the samples agreed that universities created awareness for students to give an importance to AEC. In addition, the study found that readiness of students for participating in ASEAN labour market is at medium level. The first issue that the samples concerned was the information about AEC integration and how AEC will affect ASEAN labour market. The results from hypothesis testing showed that the difference in personal factors such as gender, academic level, academic results, university, and average monthly income of their families will affect readiness of students for participating in ASEAN labour market. The study recommends that universities should encourage students to study at least one ASEAN’s language besides English as well as learning work cultures of ASEAN countries in order to help students work effectively with people across different cultures.
