พฤติกรรมของนักท่องเที่ยวในการตัดสินใจเลือกใช้บริการที่พักในอำเภอเมืองจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์

Abstract

การค้นคว้าอิสระนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะส่วนบุคคลของนักท่องเที่ยวในการตัดสินใจเลือกใช้บริการที่พักในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ 2) เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมของนักท่องเที่ยวในการตัดสินใจเลือกใช้บริการที่พักในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ 3) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยส่วนประสมทางการตลาดบริการส่งผลต่อการตัดสินใจเลือกใช้บริการที่พักใน อำเภอเมืองจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ คือนักท่องเที่ยวที่ใช้บริการที่พักในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัด ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ จำนวน 400 ตัวอย่าง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือแบบสอบถาม การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และใช้สถิติ เชิงอนุมาน ได้แก่ สถิติไคสแควร์ (Chi-Square Test), Independent Samples Test (t-test) และสถิติ Wilks' Lambda ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ข้อมูลลักษณะส่วนบุคคล ได้แก่ อายุ รายได้ต่อเดือน และเชื้อชาติที่ ต่างกันมีผลต่อการตัดสินใจเลือกใช้บริการที่พักแตกต่างกัน ข้อมูลด้านพฤติกรรม ได้แก่ เหตุผลในการ เลือกใช้บริการ จำนวนครั้งที่ใช้บริการ ระยะเวลาที่ใช้บริการ บุคคลที่ร่วมเดินทาง ระดับราคาที่ เลือกใช้บริการ การเดินทางโดยสาร และบุคคลที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการตัดสินใจที่ต่างกันมีผลต่อการ ตัดสินใจเลือกใช้บริการที่พักแตกต่างกัน ข้อมูลด้านปัจจัยส่วนประสมทางการตลาดบริการโดยรวม ทั้ง 7 ด้าน ส่งผลต่อการตัดสินใจเลือกใช้บริการที่พักประเภทโรงแรมและบ้านพักไม่แตกต่างกัน

This independent study was aimed to investigate 1) personal characteristics of how tourists decided to choose accommodation service in Mueang District, Prachaup Khiri Khan Province, 2) tourists’ behavior when deciding to choose accommodation service in Mueang District, Prachaup Khiri Khan Province, and 3) the service marketing mix factors affecting the decision to choose accommodation service in Mueang District, Prachaup Khiri Khan Province. The samples used in this study were 400 tourists using accommodation service in Mueang District, Prachaup Khiri Khan Province. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The data analysis was based on descriptive statistics including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and inferential statistics including a Chi-square test, Independent Samples Test (t-test), and Wilks' Lambda Statistics. The results of the study revealed that the tourists’ different personal characteristics including age, monthly income, and racial and ethnic backgrounds had different effects on their decision to choose accommodation service. The study also indicated that the differences of tourists’ behavior including reasons for choosing the service, frequency of service use, duration of service use, the people accompanying them, price, commuting, and the persons influencing on their decision making had different effects on their decision to choose accommodation service. In addition, the overall 7 service marketing mix factors had no different effects on their decision to choose hotel and hostel accommodation service.
